Ankur Rathi is a Partner at Sunstone Partners, and he joined the Clearwater Board of Directors in September 2025. Along with his role at Clearwater, Ankur is involved in Sunstone Partners’ investments in NETSPI, ProgenyHealth, Thirdera, Avertium and Accuhealth.
Prior to joining Sunstone Partners in 2016, Ankur was an Associate at Riverside Partners, a technology and healthcare-focused private equity firm. Before Riverside, Ankur was an Associate at Allstate Investments, focused on global investing as a limited partner in private equity firms. Ankur began his career as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at BMO Capital Markets.
Raised outside of Chicago, Ankur earned a BS in Accountancy and a BS in Finance with high honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
