Jon Moore is a nationally recognized leader in AI, cybersecurity, and compliance in the healthcare sector. As Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of Consulting Services at Clearwater, Jon guides healthcare organizations in developing robust cybersecurity and risk management programs that safeguard patient health information and ensure regulatory compliance.
With over two decades of experience, Jon has worked extensively in risk management, regulatory compliance, AI governance, and the ethical use of emerging technologies in healthcare. His thought leadership has shaped industry best practices, and his insights have been featured in Security Magazine, HealthData Management, HealthIT Answers, and Chief Healthcare Executive. He has also played a key role in developing industry standards, including the Healthcare & Public Health Sector Cybersecurity Framework Implementation Guide and the Health Industry Cybersecurity – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (HIC-AIM).
Previously, Jon served in multiple leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he contributed to major federal healthcare and regulatory initiatives, supporting organizations such as NIST, NIH, HHS, and the EPA.
Jon holds a Master of Science in Electronic Commerce from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science and Tepper School of Business, a Juris Doctorate from Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Haverford College. He is a certified Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP), with additional certifications in cloud security, IT infrastructure, and machine learning.
